CAPTAIN'S COLLECTIBLES | I have been selling post cards, postage stamps for collectors and railroad related items on eBay since 1998. You can find me and my Goods 4Sale by going to http://members.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewUserPage&userid=poffferrycap where I go under the name of poffferrycap. Please note that there are 3 "F's" in 'poffferrycap. That is because the word means, Passenger Only Fast Ferry Ferryboat Captain; quite a mouthful, I know, but at one time I ran the fastest passenger-only ferry on Puget Sound, so that is where the name came from. I also have an eBay Retail Store. You can visit the store at http://stores.ebay.com/thecaptainscollectibles and see if there is anything you would like to have right away instead of waiting for an auction to end.

By the way, if you know where this photo was taken, I would love to know. The locomotive is Norfolk & Western 611, and the occassion was an excursion somewhere on the Norfolk Southern during the railroad's steam excursion years in the 1980s and 1990s. I acquired the photo from an estate at auction. It is possibly in Richmond, Indiana where the C&O used to head south out of town. |
Do you collect postcards?
Are you interested in trains, trolleys and railroads?
| I am, for sure. I have been since I was a little kid. And I am proud to say it is inherited. My young grandson, Garrett, has been a train fanatic since he was able to point. He and I always manage to see a train or 2 when we get together. I also do my best to have some train postcards or other related items on my eBay auctions, so be sure you check the auctions out at http://members.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewUserPage&userid=poffferrycap or in my store at http://stores.ebay.com/thecaptainscollectibles . | Do you have old postcards you want to sell? Maybe you came across a box full in grandma's attic that she doesn't want anymore. I would be happy to make you an offer. Have a particular question about an item listed by me, poffferrycap, on eBay? Well, send me an email and we will see what we can do about getting together. Barry's Collectibles 19910 88th Ave. W.
